Welcome to The Challenge Golf club, a four-star rated course by Golf Digest and recipient of the 2nd Best New Course in North Carolina in 1997 awarded by North Carolina Golf Magazine Panel.  No matter what skill level you might be, The Challenge golf Club will immerse you with its beauty and challenge your skills each and every time you play. This 6935-yard championship par 72 layout features some of the most beautiful holes in all of golf.  The course was created by Larry Waggoner and built on wooded rolling farmland adjacent to the Haw River.  The farmland was part of the Waggoner family Farm (Hideaway Farms) and provides a scenic splendor of stunning natural beauty.
